Bile acid reflux?: If you're saying that you have bile acid reflux, there are medications available that can either absorb the aberrant bile acids or can promote the forward flow of bile.  Each of these has their positives and negatives.  These should be discussed with your Gastroenterologist.

Bile into stomach: The usual detection is during hida scan or nuclear medicine study, the isotope which mimics bile is seen going back into the stomach mostly after stimulation by cck. Endoscopy of the stomach can actually see bile in stomach. The problem is bile gastritis or  irritated stomach from bile affecting stomach lining.There is usually motility disorder of duodenum, moving  reverse direction. Medication.

Biliary reflux : If you have been diagnosed with this, then you may know it is similar to gastric (stomach) reflux. We believe risk factor include alcohol use, caffeine, fatty foods, and obesity. BUT, there is still a lot we don't know about it. We treat it with PPIs, like Prevacid, Prilosec or Nexium (esomeprazole). If that is not helpful, there are motility agents a gastroenterologist can prescribe.

No, get checked: Your transaminitis (elevated liver enzymes) indicates, albeit non-specifically, a sick liver. Whether this is transient (related to medication, alcohol ingestion, a passed gallstone, etc.), or is indeed of concern (e.g. Hepatitis of any cause, fatty liver secondary to diabetes, etc.) you deserve evaluation or at least a lab recheck to assess trends or resolution.

Gerd: This can be reflux, gastritis, ulcer or pancreatitis. There are several other possibilities. See a doctor, If you have black or bloody stool go to the emergency room

: I think you'd have to try it to find out. Some people with reflux may be bothered by garlic but not others. The same pertains to gastritis.  Actually some clinicians recommend eating garlic for patients with gastritis.
