It depends.: Groin pain can mean a hernia or else a hip problem. Possibilities include a torn labrum (the fibrous ring that holds the head of the femur in the hip), femoral acetabular impingement (fai) syndrome arthritis (unlikely in a young person), avascular necrosis.  If it persists you should probably get an x-ray to make sure it isn't serious.

Answer: This could be related to meralgia paresthetica any type of sprain or strain herniated disc or hip arthritis. I would recommend seeing your doctor for a thorough history and physical to get an exact diagnosis.

Vibrating Feeling  : Vibrating feeling is unusual. You may have mralgia paresthetica, a dysfunction of the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve which comes out of the abdoment across the front hip bone and permits sensation to the upper outer thigh.  You could also have disc disease at the l3-4 level.  If oyu are concerned about blood clots, you should see your primary care doctor asap.

i fell on my butt last march didn't feel pain til may. since than i've had pain n low back, hips, thighs, groins & pubic bone. why haven't i recovered?

See your PCP: It may not be related to the fall at all.You need to be examined by a physician andat least need xray of the pelvis.Obviuosly they are many sources of the pain and only a good physical exam can detec the source of the pain.

See your doctor: Many things can cause pain in your groin/hip. Radiation of the pain to another area of the body happens because a nerve is irritated-the question is what is irritating it? A physical exam and more detailed history from your doctor may help identify the problem and, at the very least, ensure there is no serious cause...

Not normally: Generally greater trochanter bursitis causes pain in this region and sometimes down the outside of the thigh.Groin pain is not characteristic  of gt bursitis.If it persists get a thorough examination.

Tendons: Popping is usually tendons and ligaments slipping over bones. Could also be your hip socket popping in and out. Because it is painful have it evaluated.

Accepted Answer

Nerve: Several superficial cutaneous nerves in the thigh.  The pattern suggests a nerve being injured.  Would give it time to heal.
