my son has been on ritalin for many years and i have been advised to take him off it. i have been told to use a medication called release sce forte. it contains sceletium tortuosum also known as kanna. is this advise worth using?

Son doing ok?: Sceletium is a plant from South Africa. It has a long history of use as a traditional medicine by tribes of SA. It has been used to enhance mood, cause relaxation, and euphoria. Traditionally, the roots and leaves were fermented and then chewed.

i am having a kidney disease and i am on medication, i am taking nitrofur sr 100mg, calsat plus, and nefrosave  forte. is it okay to have a beer?

: For mild to moderate diverticulitis, a recent study showed that there is no difference between treatment or not but if we decide to treat, we often use a wide spectrum antibiotic with an antibiotic for anaerobic organism. So if you think you are intolerable to one of them, your doctor needs to change amclavox to a quinolone or metronidazole to clindamycin. How many days have you taken the meds?

Need more info: The physician who is treating you is the best person to give you the answer to your questions as there are a lot of other things that come into play. One must know the "whole" patient to determine what is going on and then prescribe the remedy. I can understand your concern &amp; your physician should sit down with you and explain his plan and why he prescribed this particular medication.

Doubtful: Unlikely that tremors are from that combination. See your neurologist for eval of new pathology, or other cause then get treatment program to resolve

: This drug contains six B vitamins. What is the side effect you are talking about? If it's due to the medication, it should resolve by itself. 
If you have phlebitis due to poor injection technique apply warm compress twice a day.
You can take the oral B complex in the future it will be cheaper and safer.
Using the leg vein for IV drug is not recommended unless there is no vein anywhere else.
