A similar problem: Some women have very sensitive/reactive skin around the vulva and vaginal opening.  It can get inflamed and irritated, sometimes in response to exposure to chemicals and sometimes just by wetness and mechanical rubbing.  Steroid creams such as Betamethasone and triamcinolone are used in management.

Meds in pregnancy: Three issues here. 
1. All medications to be used during pregnancy should be checked with ob/gyn.
2. There are antifungal topical prescription medications that are pregnancy category b, meaning it's ok to use during pregnancy if needed.
3. Combination steroid-antifungal creams don't work. Usually have strong steroid & weak antifungal and can make fungal infections worse. Please see dermatologist.

ive vaginal psoriasis and used clovate cream (high steroid) for years. i got wrinkle like skin near vagina and derm told me its bc of clovate. i asked her to prescribe non-steroid cream and she prescribed bethametasone. still steroid?

Maybe: Most common side-effect is irritation of nasal lining. This can be minimized by orienting the nozzle toward the ear on the same side as the nostril, i.e. Spray out, away from septum, toward ear on same side. The spray then falls on the "turbinates, " 3 folds on the outer wall of the nose halfway between the nostril and the ear that swell to block the passage and make mucus to cause post-nasal drip.

Wow ... : That is strange.  It is a cheap way to fall asleep, so, if someone wants to sleep their life away, while putting up with all of the unpleasant side effects of thorazine, (chlorpromazine) i guess that could be a reason.  Otherwise, i'm at a loss.
