Possible trouble: Foot wounds in diabetes are worrisome. While many heal nicely, those that don't can indicate poor circulation, infection in soft tissue or bones, or other problems. Historically these resulted in many foot amputations. Now we can treat the underlying problems successfully. So, if the wound does not heal nicely be sure circulation, infection and other problems investigated. Hope this helps.

: It is not clear if need either of these chemicals. Cleansing with soap and water would be sufficient. Gently towel dry the area after washing.

i had perianal abscess surgery one month ago and my doctor said you don't have to take any medicine but my wound is not properly healed and suggested for sitz bath with betadine solution.

Use warm soaks: Superficial abscesses not involving intraperitoneal area but rather perianal, when drained, can be managed without medicationsl  .  Rather warm soaks to area allow inflow of blood supply to enhance healing.  Any source of warm soaks including baths will enhance healing of surgical site.
