Yes.: Unless there is an iodine allergy. Betadine works on the surface only.

Probably: It shouldn't be a problem, but i would do one or the other, and alternate them. It may be possible that betadyne may interfere with some of the ingredients in the gel.

Yes: That's not unusual if you have not cleaned it for awhile.  What you did was fine but soap and water or a little rubbing alcohol would likely have done the trick.  Try to clean the area out once a week.   If the antibiotic did not help, consider an anti-fungal cream.

i have been noticing red fiber like tiny hair in my vaginal discharge like one or two like 3-4 times a cycle. is this is indicative of period or??
i did hsg and many test took betadine & antibiotics but this continue to happen.. i am ttc?

Fibrin strands: What you described is consistent with normal strands in a clot of blood. If you do not have any other symptoms, you may leave it alone. See a doctor to establish a relation for your antenatal care and for advice regarding taking prenatal vitamins.

Don't.: Betadine just like alcohol is used for "cleaning" the skin, prevent it from infection. If put on "rash", it might cause irritation/itching and make the "rash" worse.

Neosporin: Is less likely to hurt or to interfere with healing.  Just clean it as you were directed, then blot or blow dry, and apply the Neosporin as a protective and antibacterial cover.

Acne: Betadine does not, in any way, treat the underlying cause of acne. It is, in no way, a cure or effective plan to treat both the acne or the cause of acne.
