No: If you are PG you are PG somewhere, hopeful intrauterine. The embryo and the placenta create the chemicals that are tested for so  if the hug is + you are PG. If not, you most probable are not.  If you have an ectopic signs of pregnancy will begin and the abnormal implantation will soon be observed.  Keep trying if you wish. Good luck.

Probably not, but...: At the lab I use, we consider everything less than 6 a negative result but every lab has its own cut-off.  Sometimes we will repeat borderline tests in a week just to be sure.  Best wishes!

May or may not be: U need close follow up as u are more at risk for another ectopic after one ectopic risk is 10% as opposed to 1 % for an ectopic, your doc should also do a Progesterone level , as a high one is reassuring and a low one is bad, and as soon as your beta is 2200- 2500 depending on the us machine, they sholld be able to see a gestational sac in the uterus.

Not very pregnant: Usually HCG is reported as less than 5 if negative. 15 would usually mean positive, but it depends on the lab. Find out their normal level, but it sounds like you are just a little bit pregnant.

Correct…: Correct…Usually, the HCG level is expected to double about every 2 days. The HCG will shed a great deal more light on what’s going on. Ultrasound can’t usually see a gestational sac (early pregnancy) until the HCG level is about 2000 so an ultrasound is of no help. Good Luck.

Rising HCG: The tread of a rising beta HCG indicates that there is measurable gestational/fetal development ongoing. The beta HCG value should  normally double every 3 days.
