Accepted Answer

Not applicable: As long as your reproductive system is healthy, the position of the non-pregnant uterus does NOT affect the ability to get pregnant.  In fact most women's uterus are tilted one way or another.  Some are even bent (flexed).  I don't know how you're counting the length of your cycle, but one day +/- makes no difference.  As a mother of 4 with a retroflexed uterus, I wish you the best!

Highly doubt it: All positions are equally effective for conception, so the one you (and your partner ) like is the "best." deviated - verted, flexed, or rotated uterus is not abnormal. You (and many) other women were born this way, ask if your doc can help you more.

History: Historically, gynecologic surgeons recommended shortening of the round ligaments that suspend the uterus in the pelvis to revert the tilt in an attempt to improve chances to conceive. This procedure has now been abandoned, because it did not yield better results.  If the tilted uterus is implicated in intercourse being painful, other positions than the one that cause the most pain can be tried.

No: It usually has no bearing on fertility.

No best position: Sexual satisfaction is subjective and every woman is different. Do what feels best to you and make sure that you've had a discussion with your partner about doing what makes you most comfortable. Some people however may consider side-lying as a neutral position that is independent of uterine anteversion or retroversion.

TTC: Not best position, but AFTER sex, some recommend you stay on your back 30-60 min with a pillow or cushion under bottom to try and help the sperm make it past the cerivix and into your uterus. Best of luck.  Hope this helps  Dr R

Nobody really knows: Any sex position is fertile and no position is "safe". Semen is sticky, and sperm can swim, so any intercourse position where the semen is placed anywhere inside the vagina can get a woman pregnant. The penis often is still moving in every which way during and after ejaculation, and so will spread the sperm all over the vagina and cervix.

Tilted uterus: Unless the tilt is so severe that it prevents pregnancy, which would be quite rare, your tilted uterus is just an incidental finding. It sounds like there were no other significant findings, such as a tumor on your MRI. I assume the IUD has been removed (you only mentioned the cyst removal). Check with your gynecologist to discuss prepregnancy planning and nutrition

Have lots of sex: There is actually a clear cut best way to conceive and that is to ignore your cycle and have sex as often as you can do it.

: Most women have no symptoms at all. For some woman, it can cause painful periods, pain during sex and difficulty inserting tampons.
