None.: If you have arthritis reducing  inflammation is most important.  You are referring to nsaids that relieve pain. The drugs that are least likely to exacerbate gerd are Celebrex (celecoxib) and meloxicam. Acetominophen will not cause problems but is less effective.  Also, pro-drugs, inactive in the stomach, but converted to the active drug by the liver work well: Nabumetone , an example. Salsalate works well.

R.A. can be serious: There is no natural remedy or cure.  Spontaneous remission is very unusual and can't be brought about or depended on.  You need to see a rheumatologist for management as R.A. can lead to disability and deformity if untreated. You need to be on disease modifying drugs particularly at your young age and being a woman.

I still believe: that plain, ordinary ASPIRIN is one of the BEST medications for arthritis when used PROPERLY and if the patient can take it safely!

Some people say!: Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate, maybe.  Sam-e, maybe.  Hard science is still quite undecided.  These are expensive supplements.  See if they work for you.

Similar: In clinical trials they all have similar results.  However, in my experience different people do better on different meds.  For example, some people tell me the Mobic (meloxicam) works better, but others say Celebrex is gentler on their stomach.  You may have to try a few and see which works best for you.

Depends on arthritis: It depends on which type of arthritis you have. Osteoarthritis, which is very common for example in the knees can be linked to obesity and part of the recommendations is weight loss/exercise for this. Rheumatoid arthritis needs to be started on specific medications called DMARD's and gout for example another type of arthritis can be treated with NSAID's, colchicine, prednisone and/or others.
