Generic is fine: I recommend generic versions of ibuprofen. They work as well as any brand name version.

Same: There is no need to to concerned about allergic reaction. They are both NSAIDS.

Frequent migraines: People w frequent headaches should be examined by a physician.If known to have migraines, it's worthwhile knowing: Frequent use of migraine meds(eg sumatriptan) or acetaminophen (paracetamol) can cause "medicine overuse headaches." In other words, regular use of the headache med is now actually causing the headache. NSAIDS like naproxen (Aleve) can treat med overuse headache, as well as migraines.

Ibuprofen: You can take 200mg tablets, 1-2 every 6 hours as needed but if the problem persists you should see your doctor.

: It is not recommended to consume alcoholic beverages, including hard kombucha, after taking ibuprofen. Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that can cause stomach irritation and increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. Alcohol also irritates the stomach lining and can lead to stomach bleeding when combined with NSAIDs.

Depends: The BEST pill for a migraine patient could be DIFFERENT for every patient under discussion &amp; defined by what BEST works for THAT person.  Make sense? Headaches: You are right that you should limit the use of NSAIDs (non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs) to the minimum possible.  However, when taken with lots of water and/or food, Advil (ibuprofen) 200mg tabs, can be taken 200-800mg every 8 hours as needed each day.  But again, limit it to the least amount needed for effectiveness.

: Ibuprofen is advised to take with food or milk (ideally during, but can be shortly after). There are no specific food interactions, except alcohol may enhance adverse and toxic effects, such as GI bleeding.
