Burn: The easiest thing you can do is apply neosporin which will act as barrier to prevent infection and allow healing to occur while help soothing the ache. If you continue with pain definitely consult your primary doctor.

Proceed cautiously: Before you do that, use HER palm sizes to help estimate the region of the burn. 1 palm is roughly 1% body surface area. If she is roughly in the 15% range or she has very high degree/deep burns, see a doctor immediately. She may need specialized treatment or admission to a burn unit.

Topical Burn Cream: Burns are classified as 1st, 2and, or 3rd degree with 3rd degree being the worst.  You did not mention how large an area is affected.    If no topical cream or ointment has been prescribed, you may want to ask your husband's doctor if silver sulfadiazine (silvadine)  cream would benefit your husband's burns.  I have seen silver sulfadiazine cream used in burn centers.  Sulfa allergy excludes use.

Protect to heal: Friction and constant exposure to moisture (sweat) reduces protective skin oils is the cz. Underwear may also contribute by bunching or itself causing friction.  Trying different undergarments, applying thick protective skin cream, stop intense activity for a while and see.  A thin hydrocolloid dressing ( ex. Duoderm) applied to each side 2-3 x/wk) prevents friction and promotes healing.

Recurrent yeast: As you apparently suspect, this sounds most like a yeast infection. Genital herpes could do this, but usually with several sores, not just redness. Recurrent vaginal yeast infections usually can be prevented by a single dose of fluconazole by mouth once a week. See a doctor to confirm the diagnosis, check for predisposing factors (especially diabetes), and treatment. Good luck!

Antibacterial: It depends on the degree of the burn. For first degree burns and mild sunburns, where only red, painful skin is present without blistering, aloe or aloe with Lidocaine may be helpful.  You could also use prescription silvadene (silver sulfadiazine).  For second degree burns covering small surface areas, silvadene (silver sulfadiazine), bactroban, and Bacitracin are all good.  For larger burns, seek medical care.

Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine): If first degree burn, often cool compresses and steroid cream may be sufficient.
If second degree burn, Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) cream provides zinc oxide for healing and protection along with a topical antibiotic - provided you are not allergic to Sulfa.
keeper covered with cotton wrap and change daily. Seek medical attention asap if any symptoms/signs of infection. Take care!

Depends!: How severe is the burn and how much of your body does it cover.  Ask again and clarify.  Be sure your tetanus shots are up to date. If not, get within 72 hours of the burn.

whats the best at home treatment for a nair hair removal burn on the skin between my butt cheeks, but not on my butthole? ive been using diaper rash cream, which doesnt make it worse but im not sure if it helps. had sex & pooped w/out issue.

Skin irritation: Only time will heal a burn on the skin.  Keeping the area clean and dry is also important.  Cleaning with a rinse of warm water after using the bathroom or sex is all you really need.  Diaper cream is good as it provides a barrier for sensitive skin.  Use of Nair is not recommended on your genitals or butt.  Consider shaving, waxing, or laser hair removal in the future
