Redness belly button: Redness in the area of an incision is normal. THis can be due to stitches which are in the skin. If there is swelling and increased pain then one may think infection.

Keflex: Depending on how significant the infection is will determined how quickly the resolution of the infection.  One could expect an improvement after a few days or so.  After a surgery you will have swelling and pain.  Give it time.  More than likely you may see an improvement  starting in 3 days or so.

Don't worry: Will heal in wk or so , just wash with soap and water and place a dry dressing  and call your surgeon for a follow up visit , you will be fine.

i had a lap 4weeks ago almost and today my belly button smells awful and behind where it's still closed it's oozing pus. i noticed glue was still in i picked some off and it looked better but since it's deep could this be more than incision infection?

The tingling sensation may be caused by your nerves regrowing and healing. Scar discomfort and numbness is relatively common in the first year or so post-operative.  It may take some time before  you no longer feel this but is not something to worry too much about.
