i have slow colonic transient. i've been on miralax w/prune juice as prescribed for a year. it causes loose stools. my doctor prefers that. is it safe?

Yes: it is safe, however if you are not having an appropriate response, different treatment options exist (including prescribed medications such as Amitiza, Linzess). You should re-discuss with your doctor.

recently found out have low potassium, added 2 banana's, orange juice and tomoato juice to diet but causing loose stools, concerned counterproductive?

Why is it low?: Do you know why is it low? 
Is it because you're on medicines that artificially lower it? There are rare genetic conditions that can lower potassium?

Or was this a random lab finding. If it was a random finding, realize potassium levels can fluctuate moment to moment. Also machines have error too. If its borderline low, don't go nuts with a high potassium diet. 
If it's markedly low, talk to doc!

when you have diarrhea and you lose intestinal juices, does that lead to blood ph undergoing acidosis or alkalosis?

Acidosis: When one has severe diarrhea or takes too many laxatives there is a resulting change in the balanced pH of the blood referred to as hyperchloremic acidosis.  The diminution of bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate) levels lost in the liquid stool results in this problem and must be compensated by minimizing or controlling the diarrhea and taking alkaline material P.O to return the blood pH to normal.

Can: Bloody stool often has blood runoff into the surrounding water.  Red or dark stool from foods like beets, peppers, tomatoes don't.
Any other symptoms,  ongoing symptoms, or questions-call md.

axial spondyloarthritis.. grade 3 sacroiliitis (bum always swollen) with enteritis. have had intermittent stomach pain for 3 days and it feels like food passes through me. i ate beets for lunch today and i had diarrhea with their color. fatigue?

: Best would be to get a referral to a board certified GI physician to investigate rapid food transit, as there are many causes other than "axial spondyloarthritis" .

AppleJuice does that: Fruit juice is not necessary. It is better to eat the fruit instead. That is because juice tastes good, so it's very easy to take in a huge dose of sugar that's naturally in the juice. Apple juice has a mild laxative effect. We give apple juice to young children when the children have constipation. The sugars in the juice help the kids go poop. So, drink water and eat some (not a lot) fresh fruit.

Prune juice: We don't want prune juice to give the runs.  That is unhealthy.  Just want it to help w/bowel movements.  Everyone is different.  Start w/one glass and increase until effective.  Use unsweetened prune juice because the sugar or artificial sweeteners in juices is not healthy for anyone.  Peace and good health.  If you have GI symptoms please see your doctor.

had constipation for 3days. and hard stool, after eating a senoko pills and after few hours i ate apple and prune juices i had a dirrehea . why?

Time to work: seneko pills take time to work- you may have already had the hard stools before the seneko pills became effective. By the time you had the prune juice, it sounds like the prune juice and the seneko had both kicked in to give you diarrhea. The best thing for constipation is a diet high in fresh fruits and vegetables which provide natural fiber. Drink plenty of fluids as well
