No drugs: Symptoms of URI are runny nose, cough, low grade fever, decreased appetite etc. Please do not use any over the counter medicines besides tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin for reducing the fever. Most of the uri's are self limiting and symptomatic treatment with lots of fluids and rest are sufficient. If there is worsening of symptoms please see your pediatrician.

It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Drink more water. Wish you good health!

Depends: It depends on the type of infection. If you have strep, then Amoxicillin is one choice.
If you have a more atypical respiratory illness such as mycoplasma, then a course of Azithromycin is indicated.  If you are allergic to any medications, it is important that you let your physician know. Most respiratory illness are viral and in healthy individuals requires no antiviral treatment.

600mg: This dose 3 times daily, each 8 hours apart should do it. Care is to be taken as to the real reason for it, the extent of the drug need and the side effects like c diff infection.
