No it is not: Beano is not a Probiotic.  Beano is an enzyme.  A probiotic is either a bacteria or yeast.  
An enzyme is a protein, a protein is like a machine in cells.  Beano is an enzyme that breaks sugars down to simple sugars that your body can absorb more easily.  A bacteria can also break down food into something that body can absorb more easily.

Depends: ...on what your symptoms of your intolerance are. Garlic causes acid reflux in many people, and without reflux medication, this cannot be controlled well. However, you might consider trying to roast the garlic before using it. Some people are able to tolerate roasted garlic but not fresh garlic. Good luck.

Listen to your body: There are all kinds and some may contain heavy metals  that are not good. If one has recently taken antibiotics probiotics can be helpful to prevent clostridia  and overgrowth with bad bacteria but eating 6 servings of vegetables fresh or lightly steamed and eating one apple a  day promotes a healthy bacterial flora. Dairy, wheat, and sugar grow inflammatory bacteria.

Very: In this era of frequent antibiotic use and poor dietary habits, probiotics help replete the body's natural flora.  They help prevent overgrowth of certain bacteria and keep fungal growth also at a healthy level.  There have been studies also proving that probiotics contribute to intestinal health and digestion and regularity.  But just like everything else, all things should be done in moderation.

Not positive: But since Greek Yogurt is often a good source of probiotics - my thought is that Labneh might also be.

Not a pill: Vega looks like a company that makes propietary blended shakes and other products.  The probiotics are included in the shake.  How effective they are, i don't know.

Probiotics: If you have GI symptoms and have seen your doctor, a multi-strain probiotic is a good.  Recent research points to the bacteria in the gut as influencing mood and overall health so a probiotic can be helpful for all of us.  Peace and good health.
