It is a good idea to take a probiotic when on an antibiotic but differences exist among them. Yogurt does have those 2, but they are often destroyed in the gut by acid, and they may not be live and active. In general, Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium or Saccharomyces boulardii are the ones to get and at least 1 billion colony forming units listed on the label
