which soap is good for bathing?

Which soap?: Usually a fragrance-free soap made for sensitive skin, like dove for sensitive skin, aveeno (oatmeal) soap or cetaphil bar do well for any type skin, particularly for dry skin that is easily irritated. Also avoid using washcloths or sponges.

hi dictor, am just wondering if i can use any of the soaps (qei + or clear nature soap) with my airol 0.05%? can i use any of them for bathing?

Accepted Answer

Yes: Airol 0.05% cream is generic tretinoin.  Mild soaps can be used in bathing.  I am not familiar with QEI or Clear.  Dermatologists often recommend Cetaphil or Basis.  Avoid any skin care products that can dry or irritate your skin including rough skin cleansers or products that contain alcohol.  Be especially careful with cleansing the face, the area where most people apply tretinoins.

Soap ok: It's ok to wash your hair with soap as many people(especially men) still do. It is less a detergent than shampoo and therefore removes less oil from your hair.

i am using soap while i aam bathing and accidentally soap when into my nose what will just happen will it go or we must wash because my nose is having an terrrible flu and irritation?

: Soap in the nose will be irritating to the area, but is not dangerous. Try to rinse with water or saline nose spray. The irrigation and any congestion should go away within a day. If not, please contact your doctor.

Chest pain: You would need to make an appointment with a doctor to get a specific opinion and treatment. More details are needed. What does the skin look like? Explain the chest pain more. Chest pain is very concerning when worse strenuous   activity

Accepted Answer

Soap: does not kill bacteria.  It loosens up the surface of the skin so the bacteria will wash away.  If you are talking about liquid hand cleaners, they are ok when traveling out and about but old fashioned soap is still the best.  Just rinse thoroughly so dirt and germs float away and don't obsess about it.  We are all covered in germs, most of which are fine.  Peace and good health.

will happen and he said the ear is clogged?

Accepted Answer

: Usually soap in the ear canal will not result in any infection. If the water is not clean and there is immersion in unclean water, there is a risk of an outer ear canal infection. The symptoms include outer ear pain and drainage. A little bit of soapy clean water in the canal usually does not cause symptoms. Discuss how to dry the ear canal by patting dry with a towel with your PCP.  d

NONE: In India, or anywhere else, scabies is not dirt and cannot be washed off. Permethrin and/ or ivermectin are effective. ALL contacts should be treated at the same time.

i have dyshidrotic eczema on my fingers and toes. is there any otc products that will help? i think its something in bathing products of laundry soap.

1% hydrocortisone: 1% hydrocortisone 2-3 times a day might help

if i have recurrent boils, should i bath with an antibacterial soap/wash (or at least wash the affected area) or a normal soap is enough and works?

Accepted Answer

Antibacterial soap: bathing with an antibacterial soap or cleanser would be helpful, but if attacks become more frequent or more severe, would see dermatologist to be evaluated
