Body contouring attempts to remove this excess skin and lift / tighten it back into place. Avoid Dumping syn.: SO you have had Gastric By Pass surgery /Bariatric surgery !. Please follow the dietary instruction given to you. Vitamin B and D supplement ,Electrolyte supplements like Calcium and Magnesium and Iron supplements are also necessary.High Sugar containing food may cause you to have Diarrhea .

Lots of options but: the most common in the US is still the roux-en-Y gastric bypass. The sleeve gastrectomy (or gastric sleeve) is fast on the rise, with good outcomes as well. The lap band, or adjustable gastric band, is another option but is falling out of favor due to complications/poor long term results. I personally have taken out more bands than put in. I recommend consultation with a good bariatric surgeon.

It is not a walk in: Procedure , what type depends on  needs , one may need temporary reversible , ( adjustable ) lap band , some need gastric resection like, sleeve resection , or  more complex gastric by pass , where small stomach pouch is created and connected with bowel loop  ( rouex en "y" )  anastomosis  . One has to get enrolled in a program first , get evaluated , non operative method first before under taking.

Diazoxide may be one of those potential treatments in this setting.

Dangerous: Yes and no. It is extremely safe when performed by the top centers in the country with extensive experience (for example, my group has done over 5000 operations). If done by less qualified surgeons then yes it can be dangerous. Visit a few doctors and ask what their experience is. 7-10 years of experience and a few thousand cases are good numbers. In nor cal, calvin higa and john morton are great.
