Septicemia: If the infection spread to the blood stream, the person develops high fever, chills, rigors and if left untreated shock and even death. You will know by the worsening symptoms, however, it is better to not wait to let a UTI get that bad. See this site for more info on uti.

If urine test : and culture, is negative, not likely to have infection.  Recheck with your doctor to be sure.

Maybe, not airborne: When someone has a staph infection (MRSA or not), other people in the same household often are at somewhat increased risk. It's not so much airborne, but from skin surfaces, which typically are contaminated with staph no matter where the main infection is; and from skin, household dust and surfaces often are contaminated. Common sense hygiene (hand washing) and housecleaning help reduce any risk.

i had uti infection and e colli bacteria found in my urine and all other reports are normal..i comleted 7 days course of furadantin antibiotic.but today after 10 days i still have very light microscopic level blood in my urine with burning sensation?

The bacteria can invade the bladder wall and enter the blood vessels there. Then the bacteria and infection can travel through the complete circulation causing systemic sepsis. : High WBC (leukocytosis) and high absolute neutrophils (neutrophilia) could be due to UTI but not low Hb (anemia).

Vaginal odor: Vaginal odor is typically caused by an elevated vaginal pH. Most common causes are bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, retained tampons, old blood from menses and other infections. Your specific cause would have to be determined by the doctor doing your exam and tests.

If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.

: Presence of bacteria in urine may represent colonization or catheter associated UTI based on specifics of the test result. As any other infection a UTI may cause a bump in blood glucose, simple colonization should not cause significant changes in blood sugars.
