my partner (female, mid 20s) has lower back pain (lumbar) after reaching down to pick up something. she has no weakness in the legs, no bladder incontinence, no chills. two days after and her back is still leaning to one side. what should she do?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests.  She should continue her daily activities as best as she can. She may take acetaminophen for pain. If her symptoms are not improving, It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

i have severe back pain in the upper part, sides and lower of my back. its hard to move and only one position i can tolerate. what do i do?

Need more input: Did you have an injury?  It is hard to know what caused this.  Many back injuries are caused by lifting or pushing things.  The muscles can be the source of pain.  You need to be evaluated by a provider, then perhaps muscle relaxant medicine and PT will help you feel better.

one week ago i have done fizioteraphy, because of pain in back. after that, a sharp pain accured after a week on the right side of back. pain was so sharp, i wasn't able to do anything for few days.

Muscle spasm: You probably had strict contraction of the musculature that you were working on.These spasms are usually self limiting though can be very painful. Ibuprofen and warm compresses help relax the muscles. Continued physical therapy will help strengthen the muscles after acute pain has resolved.

Sounds muscular: As it is only of short duration and only occuring with certain positions or movement, it sounds muscular and should resolve with some time.  You can try some over the counter medication and heat to the area like a heating pad.  If it persists or worsens or if you develop any other symptoms, see your doctor.

Facet arthropathy: Thank you for your question.  There are many potential causes of back pain.  Among the more common causes of unilateral back pain are sacro-iliac joint problems, fact arthropathy, and spianl stenosis.  Usually an exam and appropraite sudies can find the cause of your pain.

No: Rarely if done right . Sometime can have headache

i have grinding noise when i move my neck from side to side it feels like one bone is rubbing in each other  and olso this makes me back pain !?

Common: Grinding and popping of joints is common as we get older. If you have a history of trauma to your neck or back,  some evaluation with xrays is needed to confirm no fractures. Our discs wear out over time, so most of us will have areas that are bone on bone. This doesn't have to be painful but can limit our ability to move as freely because the joints fuse together. Don't try to make things pop.

Pain: Your physician can determine the cause: kidney stone or infection, strain, herniated disk, arthritis among many others. See a doctor.
