Back pain : Yes gastric reflux can cause back pain when the acid from the stomach irritates the esophogeal lining or heart burn. You need to see your doctor to discuss the best way to solve this problem. A lot of times its life style changes of foods and stress that will help. Otherwise medications can help.

hello dr, i have contracted gb with multiple stones, each 7mm,dont have any other symptoms except the gastric issue with severe back pain, pls advice.

Surgery: If the gallbladder has stones and is causing symptoms it is time for surgery.  A low fat duet can help with symptoms until the surgery is done.  Good luck

lower back pain three months out. very limited to what i can take. no nsaids due to gastric bypass. any suggestions?

: If you do not have significant hypertension or chronic kidney disease, a short course of celecoxib (a cox-2 inhibitor which is not contraindicated in most stomach conditions) with other med for chronic pain such as gabapentin, pregabalin or duloxetine along with physical therapy. Alternative therapy is steroid injection or ultrasound ablation. Of course, cause of back pain needs to be identified.

More info?: Have you had an US of your gallbladder?  Are there stones?  Is your pain related to eating or activity?  Is it worse before a BM or relieved after you have one?   It is not too long after your sleeve procedure  have you talked to your bariatric surgeon.  Endoscopy could ensure you don't have an ulcer or inflammation of your pouch.  Talk to your bariatric surgeon

Yes but: In general yes you can use Celebrex (celecoxib) in spite if your gastric surgery need to be ce refill not to take it on empty stomach

Yes, sure can!: An ulcer in any of these places can cause back pain and fatigue.  Other causes are possible, too.  So treat the ulcer. If the back pain and fatigue does not go away, then get checked for other possible reasons.

lower back pain, navel pain, followed by vomiting and nausea after bypass surgery. i made some alfredo and i think this triggered but want to make sure. i had gastric bypass surgery and it was very uncomfortable. the pain was behindmy shoulder blade ?

O ver eating : Probably right. The Alfredo was probably too rich and too much for your sensitive bypass.  If it has got better you are probably OK. Good Luck

See below: Not sure i understand this question some people have more back pain when they bend forward, this is usually seen in people with disc problems. Other people have more pain when they bend backward which suggests problems with the back joints (facet joints) or can be a sign of spinal stenosis which is a condition that typically occurs in older adults.

Yes : It's possible but is just one of many causes.  If concerned enough get an ultrasound of kidney and bladder as well as a urinalysis.
