Allergy: A recurrent rash may be a sign of allergy or sensitivity to foods, clothing, lotions etc.  Keeping a symptom diary can help determine the cause.

Not unless...: ...The cream is too strong (it can cause thinning of the skin), and that too-strong cream is applied long enough to inhibit secretions from the adrenal gland. Under normal circumstances, application of any steroid cream approved for use on children will not have any psychological or physical consequences.

is it ok to use siloderm mixi cream on new born baby 4 skin rashes n boils?

Siloderm mixi : This cream should not be used on your new born child . Its use can cause deafness among other severe symptoms. If child does indeed have boils he should be in the hospital receiving i.V antibiotics. See your doctor immediately for help.

Anthisan cream: Anthisan cream is recommended for use in ages 2 yrs and above.  Avoid use in children under 2 years of age.

Yes.: This is one of my major pet peeves. Please don't be seduced by the "natural" label. Cyanide is natural. So is arsenic. It's one of those words, like "organic" and "herbal", that manufacturers put on products for the sole purpose of charging you more for them. Yes, regular creams work just as well - and in many cases, better.

what are the best creams or pills to get a fair skin? can i use lavender johnson and johnsons baby oil?

Creams and water: Pills are not the answer for improving your skin. Hydration and lubrication is. You need to read your labels and change how you bath and care for your skin. Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily. Limit bathing to 2 times a week if possible. Moisturize your skin at least once a day, twice if you can - it doesn't matter what moisturizer, as long as you do it consistently. Use sun screen on exposed skin!

my 13 month old baby's skin is very dry. what can i do for it. i already use atopia cream and cetaphil also. but there is no change on him?

Frequently: Use the moisturizer 3-4 times every day.Use otc cortisone on bad patches except the face. Give 1-2 weeks.If no improvement-call your pediatrician.

Recommend PCP: Peeling skin may be related to an immune reaction and he should be seen. Other causes may be over immersion in water.

Try...: Using a soap with moisturizer built in and shower in lukewarm water. Try this for a few weeks, if nothing has changed then use a Hydrocortisone cream. Also, it would help if you went to see a dermatologist so that they could recommend other solutions, since I am not there to see the condition.

Allergies: She may have an allergic reaction to food or another trigger. An allergy testing panel may be ordered. In addition, avoid harsh soap and cream on the face. Use a baby eczema lotion a few times daily. Healthtap consult available/ Pediatrician.
