Hihg blood pressure: Once you have symptoms - headache- you need medication as there is potential risk of stroke. While on medication you can institute lifestyle changes weight loss, decreasing salt intake to less than 2000 mg/ day , healthy diet and when at goal of decreased weight/ healthy diet you may be able to wean off medication, But with  headache start medication NOW. f/u/ w/ MD-check thyroid, CMP(kidney),CBC.

The herb promoted for cognitive health, withania somnifera, does seem to have some effect in animal models, but has not been well-tested in humans, so the answer is, we don't really know.

Not likely to help: Ayurvedic treatment is not likely to have any effect on disc prolapse and cord compression, as the symptoms are due to a part of the disc physically pressing on one's spinal cord or spinal nerves. Some sort of neurosurgical procedure is usually needed to move or remove the part that is compressing the spinal cord.

I do not know: It would be best to ask an ayurvedic practitioner what kind of success they have had. I am sure it would help in recovery if surgery were needed. I would suggest acupuncture as i know it can help with back pain. I have seen amazing results with bulging discs and acupuncture. And is it so bad that surgery is needed or still in a bulging position, not fully blown out?

Fumaric Acid: The most effective treatment that I have found for psoriasis is fumaric acid, available over the counter in many health food stores.  Start with 500 mg per day, and increase the dose by an additional 500 mg per day each week.  Maximum dose is 3500 mg per day.  Somewhere between 500 and 3500, you should begin to see results.  Maintain the effective dose.  Not a cure, but excellent control.

Depends on weight: I presume pcod stands for polycystic ovarian disorder. This is a challenging one. No one knows if the pcod causes obesity or if obesity causes pcod.  Ayerveda sounds like a great complement to your overall weight loss goal. Why not add some yoga and exercise as a routine. Remember that a change in lifestyle is the best way to lose weight and keep it off long term b.
