See your doctor: Several possibilities. It's possible that it has not healed it that it has healed in a position that causes shoulder impingement. Your orthopedic surgeon can evaluate this with an exam and x-rays. Mri might be helpful if x-rays look ok.

Protection: An avusion fracture means that a muscle pulled off a small piece of bone to which it attaches.  The best way to heal as quickly as is to avoid using that muscle and avoid repetitive motion of the bone fragment.  A splint o rbrace may help.

Ischial tuberosity: A year old fracture there is typically treated conservatively. Treat the symptoms. Rare surgery--consider ham stretch and strengthening, ultrasound, laser therapy, pt, modalities, nsaids, core exercises, purified omega, etc. If asymptomatic, no specific treatment needed.

Ankle injury : An avulsion fracture may require several types of treatment based on the size and any displacement of the avulsed bone. This could require casting to surgery. An ankle sprain depending on severity could require rehab to surgery. Clinical exam and imaging helps tailor treatment.

In general, fractures take 6-8 weeks to heal. An avulsion is a small fracture usually with a soft tissue attachment. Activity such as walking is frequently allowed, because it doesn't prolong the healing. However, for complete healing to take place allow 3-4 months. Symptoms should gradually improve during that time, till they finally resolve. See less
