Some argue this proves we're overdiagnosing and overtreating adhd in the us, others, that adhd is underappreciated outside the us.  A big change is ongoing treatment in adolescents and adults, leading to concerns about medication misuse and diversion, .

ADHD treatment: ADHD is usually treated with stimulants like Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) or concerta. It depends on the age of the child and how they respond. If one medication doesn't work most will respond to another type of medication.
