Varies: People perform at their best when well rested, well nourished, not ill & in a comfortable setting.Lack of any of these staples can give rise to ADHD like symptoms. If they have been excluded & the person is true ADHD, the stimulants have a 90% success rate.Non-stimulants are inconsistent in their effectiveness so they end up as the alternative when the stimulants don't help. Each case is unique.
