Doctor can examine: One's doctor can do an exam to see whether or not there is pneumonia. A pneumonia patient can transmit germs to another person, but the receiving person may get pneumonia or merely get other symptoms (such as nose, ear, or throat symptoms). Also, pneumonia transmission is generally airborne, which means inhaling the air that a sick person breathes out may be more risky than sharing food items.

Don't expect magic: This is the red stuff in beets and some other foods. Pretty much any chemical could perhaps impact the enormously complex inflammation / immune system in some way, and there's no shortage of petri-dish science showing a multiplicity of effects. Beets are yummy, but if you think eating them is going to miraculously impact your health for the better, you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

The demise of the family unit and all the things inherent in that, are all on the rise. Home is where the heart is; we've lost our way. Can we find our metaphorical home?

Unlikely: Amputations are traumatic and disrupt the arteries, nerves, veins, and soft tissues. The question of survival without assistance is really dependent on the location of an amputation. A finger amputation is not the same as a thigh or calf amputation. It is unlikely for someone to survive a thigh or calf amputation without medical assistance. There is loss of blood, fluids and a risk of infection.

Check locally : The federal government has talked about many things such as covering testing &amp; treatment &amp; lost work time but as far as what is actually happening it is probably best to check locally via your Dr office, hospital, health department who will know more about your area

No other disease?: Each person with constipation needs to be sure there is no other disease causing it. If constipation is just due to slow movement of the food and poop through the gut, then the things to try are vegetables, water, prune juice, prunes, fiber-with-water, polyethylene glycol, Senokot or other senna, milk of magnesia, other laxatives... A doctor can evaluate and maybe prescribe helpful medicines too.
