It varies: Ashwagandha has a wide range of proven benefits. I recommend it to almost all my patients. It gives energy but is also calming. It often improves sleep, even if taken in the morning.
I find most people benefit more from taking it in the morning, but some do better taking it at bedtime and some take it AM and PM. Experiment to see how you feel taking it AM vs. PM.

Sensoril: Sensoril active ingredient is ashwangandha and was studied with a double blind placebo controlled study with 98 subjects who did state their energy level, stress and cognition improved over two months of use.  How long it last is not stated but in my experience, the indian ginseng last only a few days to 2 weeks in the system before it is completely washed out.

No: his height is determined by his genetic predisposition.  This associated with his overall health, lack of injury to his growth centers and good overall nutrition.  If he were to have a growth hormone deficiency his ultimate height could be affected by replacement of growth hormone.

No bad reports: No problems are reported but that's not a guarantee. You might ask your Dr and certainly follow each one's directions. Pay attention to how you feel and be cautious but it should be okay.

Our bodies are open systems; majority (~55-62%) is water ; we need water in ; out to stay alive; yet water can also kill us, e.g. Acute water intoxication; pulmonary edema (cannot breath), etc.. The issues are always dose/unit time, both acute ; chronic changes in behavior ; tracking outcomes, called clinical trials.

Address the whole: For chronic stress, one must address the whole situation.  What caused the chronic stress in the first place?  Ashwagandha is a relatively safe herb that can be used for chronic stress to help symptomatically as well as to help rebuild the system.  However, exercise, stress management techniques, and a good diet are also key as well as addressing the source of the stress.

Unknown: This herbal supplement is obtained from a plant in the tomato family. It contains withanolides (steroidal lactones), alkaloids, choline, fatty acids, amino acids, and a variety of sugars. Like any plant or herb, the unknown compounds like alkaloids can have undesirable side effects. Since no testing has been done, we do not know if ashwagandha is safe for glaucoma patients.
