all my pain symtums are artheritise related. i had blood work done and it can back negative for artheritise. what is wrong with me?

Get a specialist: I have learned over the years of my practice of medicine that many times the doctor does not know what is going on and yes the test come back normal.  At this point i send the patient on to get a fresh opinion from a specialist.  Don't get discouraged and keep looking for the answer to your problem.

CRP?: Best test for inflammation! you should have had that done.  Being b27 negative does not r/o spondyloarthritis, as many docs believe. Not by any stretch.  But if CRP is negative, then issues of hypermobility, weight, and your activities need to be addressed more intensely! i would take an NSAID for pain relief!

They are different: Rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic autoimmune disease that attacks the soft tissue and cartilage in the body's joints. It responds well to specialized, autoimmune meds but can require surgery. Osteoarthritis is a mechanical wearing away of the cartilage. It is not systemic disorder. It can respond well to the more commonly known anti-inflammatory meds. It too may require surgery.
