i have general swelling in my left armpit..there is no lump and it feels like the armpit is puffy.i have no other symptoms except slight discomfort.

Axilla: Sometimes an axilla(armpit) feels puffy to the patient despite no evident pathology on examination. In these circumstances an irritability and/or some tension of muscular components or, low grade skin irritation or  even a slight strain are possible causes of this discomfort. To be sure there is no pathology like enlarged deep lymph glands, have your physician examine you.

Please go to ER: Could be a number of things that need to be evaluated right away. These are very unusual symptoms. Usually redness and pain is present with infection. The symptoms you describe could be due to subcutaneous emphysema, air trapped under the skin. Usually occurs in the chest and neck area. Skin would feel crackly to touch.

I disagree: This need evaluation to rule out infection. The evaluation may require biopsy of the node. I have no idea why physiotherapy would be suggested before a more complete evaluation of possible causes.

Go get a medical exa: Without a medical exam, we can not tell you what you are feeling. So go have a doctor check your glands(lymph nodes). You would not be able to feel any other glands like you have said " general glands".

i touched an older womans hand and two hours later my whole back felt itchy and when i got home i had an outbreak of pale scab patches, they made my skin risen and puffy, they look pale/brown, appearing on my cheek, eyelid, neck and armpit?

: It seems you have an acute allergic reaction but I am not sure the allergen is from the old woman's hand but it can't be ruled out entirely. If needed, you can take anti-allergic medication such as allegra (less sedative effect) or benadryl, OTC allergic meds, for those symptoms. It could be a coincidence then you should see a dermatologist if those skin findings last more than 3 days. Good luck.
