IT's not likely to: be your heart. With pain where you described it, it sounds like a muscle sprain or something musculoskeletal. See your Dr if concerned.

Anti-inflamatory: Steroids reduce prostaglandin levels . This is a chemical your body makes when its injured. Its what makes the joint swollen and painful. Steroids are injected directly in to a joint to optimize its effectiveness.

i have left arm pain since somedays.it got increased when i do work.i got ecg done,it is normal.so doctor gave pain killers but pain is decreasing only when i use them.i have history of stroke.when i stop using painkillers pain increasing.reason?

At least 2: One reason is that some process is causing your pain, many time that is inflammatory and the root will need to be identified and addressed. Second reason is the way pain pills work as once the effect goes away in few hours, the pain will be back. Sustained release pills may help in that regard once a diagnosis is formulated.

Hmm..: did you get an MRI of the cervical spine to rule out a cervical radiculopathy, or an MRI of the shoulder to evaluate for shoulder problems? An EMG/NCS can also help identify problems. Hope this helps!

Anxiety & stress: I'm glad your tests came out normal -- but you still have the problem.  Anxiety can cause many kinds of physical symptoms, including chest pressure & pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, numbness, tingling and even pain in extremities.  Please ask your doctor about this possibility, & for referrals.  Psychologists & psychiatrists can help you deal with anxiety & resultant symptoms.

have upper right arm pain, around bicep area, below shoulder. dull ache, comes and goes. but lately consistent. i have this arm out for computer work, holding mouse, 12 hours a day. i often sleep on that side, with arm under pillow. no other pain?

You are right: It is related to holding the mouse 12 hours a day! Try to modify that , if you can, rest your arm every 1/2 hour for 5 minutes, take short breaks, stretch your arm, avoid lifting, screw driving, etc for now, see your doctor for evaluation if no improvement, good luck

Parsonage Turner: Syndrome. Check for any focal weakness or sensory loss. Sometimes this can be a late consequence of pleurisy or an isolated viral event. Degenerative conditions involving the shoulder and related structures would not present in a sub acute or paroxysmal fashion.

Orthopedics: Sounds like your direction of specialist care needs to be changed.
Your symptoms are more in need of an Orthopedics or Neurology.
All the chest pain cardiology stuff has been ruled out which is good.
Bad is that you are young and have an arm which is giving you pain. See Orthopedics, they are great docs. Some of the nicest in medicine due to their sports-related and active lifestyles.

a 1.8 cm slip of l5-s1.  cracking sounds in neck when i turn my head.  arm pain in both arms.

blood work was normal.

are neck and back related?  arthritis?

Degenerative arthrit: It sound as though you may have degenerative arthritis though other forms of arthritis may not have blood markers so a trip to a rheumatologist  is in order.  You did not mention your age or occupation as these may be factors.
