Pinched nerve: During sleep you probably slept in neck position that caused pinched nerves and thus numb right arm. This is common with underlying degenerative disease of neck ( osteoarthritis). See a neurologist.

Pinched nerve: See a neurologist. You may have arthritis  in the neck. Sustained position in flexion can lead to this type of symptoms due to pinched nerves.

hi, i woke up one morning with left arm numbness from the elbow down with hand weakness and wrist drop.  my doctor ordered a head ct and neck mri to rule out anything life threatening.  it turned out to be saturday night palsy.  how long to recover?

Palsy: Even though the initial nerve damage is serious, the palsy generally heals within several weeks. Treatment involves resting the injured nerve often by wearing a splint. I believe that a neurologist should direct your care and dictate when to start proper physical therapy.

Nerves: Could be carpal tunnel, the nerve gets pinched as if passes into your hand.  Or could be cubital tunnel, the part of the ulnar nerve that passes through your elbow, most common for those that sleep with their elbows bent (e.g. Hands on the chest).  These are very common reasons for your symptoms at night.  You can get a carpal tunnel splint at your pharmacy.  If bothersome, your doctor can help.

i have 2 extra ribs & about 2 months ago they caused pain in my right arm & numb thumb & finger. i don't get much pain but still have numbness! thorts?

Cervical rib: Cervical ribs may cause a neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome (ntos) in which the brachial plexus is compressed, resulting in numbness, abnormal sensations, and weakness of the upper extremities. This condition is extremely rare, though, and i doubt you have it. You may have disputed neurogenic tos. There is no indication for surgery. Physical therapy is the typical management for this condition.

hard lump over spine now its spread on both sides of the spine too, not sure if related but have developed migraines, arm numbness,& severe brain fog i cant get rid of for the last 3+ years. malaise all the time. brain mri normal..just cyst/knot?

Lump over the spine : The spine has lots of normal lumps, google search spinous processes. More detailed information is needed to address this since there are several things you mention. There are many considerations that come to mind- one thing comes to the forefront,  depression. There are many other possibilities for your symptoms; such as cervical disc disease, vitamin b12 deficiency, Lyme disease. See a doctor

Cerv Radiculopathy: Pain that radiates into the arm with associated numbness or weakness, suggests a pinched nerve. In older patients, this is often due to arthritis. Younger patients, herniated disc is often the cause. If symptoms result from postures or positions of the arm or shoulder, other causes are suggested: thoracic outlet, cubital or carpal tunnel. For symptoms that persist or worsen have a doc take a look.
