Water alone is best: Be sure you formally see ypue doctor if you have worsening UTI symptoms as this will need treatment to avoid a kidney infection or spread of bacteria to the blood stream. For OTC remedies, try AZO for pain that occurs with urination. Cranberry tablets are good as well due to a component of the fruit that makes it more difficult for bacteria to take hold in your urinary tract. Keep the water plain!

No: U need otc yeast meds they usually work, if they do not then u may need a script med like Diflucan (fluconazole) or gynazole-1 if u do apple cider vinegar with a yeast that could cause severe burning and vaginal irritation.

Don't do it: This won't do any good at all and could be irritating and make yeast symptoms worse. Vaginal yeast infections need medical treatment. There are excellent over-the-counter drugs, including single dose oral fluconazole (Diflucan), or any of several vaginal creams -- look for active ingredient ending in "azole". If any doubt about the diagnosis, or if OTC treatment doesn't work, see a doctor.

i developed a yeast infection 2 weeks ago. used travacort but it would come back. i stopped using it and switched to canalba 2 days ago. i now keep getting watery discharge. drinking apple cider vinegar diluted in water. is this discharge normal?

See a doctor: The active ingredients in Travocort and Canalba are similar; if one didn't help, the other will not. Vaginal yeast usually causes itching and irritaiton, little if any discharge. Whether or not it was yeast initially, something else probably is the cause now. (STD?) If the discharge is new and different to you, it's not normal; see a doctor. Water with vinegar won't treat any vaginal infection.

Helps: Vinegar is acidic so it would protect from yeast but it would not cure you.  You need antifungal medication, along with vinegar douching and probiotics to avoid recurrance.

Cook with them: I read an excellent recipe for sausage and sauerkraut using those two ingredients.  Alternatively, you can eat the yogurt and you can drink the apple cider vinegar (or cook something else with it)
.....After you confirm you have a yeast infection and take an appropriate medication for it.
