Anxiety shows itself: In may ways.  Once can mentally obsess over things that frighten the person or do behaviors to keep danger away, e.g., ritual behaviors, checking and re-checking.  Physically there can be heart palpitations, shortness of breath, sweating, sleeplessness, etc.  Please see your doc and then go to a mental health professional for support if you think you have an anxiety disorder.

See a doctor: Could be something as simple as acid reflux (i.e., heartburn), or more involved such as a peptic ulcer.  If it's causing you enough discomfort to become anxious about it, it's time to seek help from a doctor.  Make an appointment with your primary care physician or pay a visit to a local urgent care clinic.  Unless you are in severe pain, or actively vomiting/pooping blood, no need to go to the er.

Anxiety : Propranolol works on the autonomic nervous system. It blocks the portion of that system that makes our heart race, causes tremor or makes us feel excited. It does not work on the mind. It is so interesting how the gastrointestinal system is connected to our emotions

The best way to help with anxiety is  talk therapy. There are other medications such as SSRIs.
