Urinary Infection: Females are more prone to get urinary tract infection (UTI) after intercourse. Frequency of urination is an important symptom of UTI. This can better spontaneously by drinking more fluids. If it does not improve in a day or two, consult a doctor.

Multiple causes: Difficult question - most problems of frequent urination are not caused by neurological causes - overactive bladder (oab) - is a general problem with multiple causes - in men this is often due to enlarged prostate, decreased size of  bladder, urinary tract infections. Women can have interstitial cystitis, prolapsed uterus, etc. Get an initial eval by your fp to r/o infection -  then urologist eval.

: Hyper glycemia is one of the causes though not a very frequent cause of frequency. I think you are worrying too much, If you have family history of Diabetes and also can't stop worrying have your MD do a blood sugar and urine sugar test. I think you will be fine.

See a therapist.: The obvious answer s to treat the anxiety through psychotherapy or medication. I would definitely try to alleviate the anxiety through progressive relaxation techniques and behavior modification before you try medications.

: There can be many reasons for urinary frequency, and most of them are not serious. I recommend having a U/A performed by your PCP if possible. This would show any glucose in the urine, a sign of possible diabetes. And yes, anxiety can cause urinary frequency. Concerning diabetes, prevention is where the action is. Eat a whole foods diet and avoid sugar and highly processed food.
