Not likely: antibiotics can affect the absorption of medicines. that is true. but the medicines in IVF are usually given in a dose that any antibiotics should not affect their metabolism. many women take antibiotics for different reasons during IVF

saw dr. have prostatitis. going to take antibiotics and flomax (tamsulosin). since diagnosed have questions. i jog 4-5 days a week-should i stop?  how frequent  should i masturbate? could it effect success of ivf?

No, few days, yes: Don't stop exercising unless it increases discomfort from prostatitis. If attempting IVF, should not masturbate more than every 3-5 days, as may degrade quantity/quality of sperm, which could alter IVF success.

i've had a pap smear and have contracted a uti (seen a doctor and am on antibiotics).
i was suppose to have an ivf in the near future. however, since i've had a uti, how long should i actually wait until it's safe or okay for my next ivf?

was under sedation with propofol for ivf egg retrieval. was given antibiotic cefuroxime and novalgin for pain. started to cough. they said it was like an asthma attack. antibiotic allergic reaction?

Possible: For egg retrieval you might receive more than one drug, and you might develop cough for many reasons. Antibiotic allergy is possible as is also allergies to other drugs. Also light anesthesia can cause asthma like reactions. So the real reason is unclear.

Partial?: I'm not clear what partial hysterectomy refers to? If you mean uterus removed and ovaries still in place, you can definitely do ivf but would need another woman to carry the baby. If you mean ovaries removed and uterus left, you could carry a bbay but would need donated eggs. If partial menas supra-cervical, then the answer is liek teh first one. Good luck!

how long for a hemorrhagic cyst to resolve ivf?

Within 2 to 6 weeks: It is not surprising to see residual cysts following any ovulation induction cycle for iui's or ivf.

For IUI cycles- since stimulation is much gentler, about 1 to 2 in 10 cycles will have residual cysts.

For ivf, its significantly higher, since stimulation is more aggressive.

They resolve within 2 to 6 weeks.  Using birth control pills are often used but don't appear to make them go away faster.
