Sprain Pain Control: Aspirin and advil (ibuprofen) are  anti-inflammatory medications. Both work on similar pathways. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is not considered an nsaid. But on the all three medicationss can be used to control the pain of a sprain.

In babies? :): At a lose dose i'm sure it has some anti inflammatory properties but probably not enough in an adult to notice in terms of pain relief.

Not even close: Aspirin has no significant anti-inflammatory effects unless it is taken in high doses that approach toxic levels. Diclofenac has significantly greater benefits in treating inflammation.

See details: Numerous issues can cause an elevated CRP. Aspirin has to be taken in very large doses to have any antiinflammatory effects. The other meds other reduce pain but often will not lower the CRP. Once again, it depends on the cause.

my son had a nasal skull fracture 2 years ago. neurosurgeon said he is not allowed aspirin and anti inflammatory medication. can i give him sinumax?

Sinumax: contains no aspirin nor non steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, it contains paracetamol, pseudoephedrine and an antihistamine, probably safe for your son if he has normal blood pressure, wish you both wellness

can i take alleve as anti-inflammatory for my foot ligament strain plus tylenol for pain at same time? i also have diclophenac script i have on hand in case of back pain 75mg and could take that if you think that is better. can i still take tylenol?

Meds: yes you can take Tylenol (acetaminophen) along with a anti-inflammatory such as diclofenac or Aleve. Just know that the Aleve or diclofenac can cause gastrointestinal upset.
