Effects of Tums (calcium carbonate): Tums (calcium carbonate) are used to reduce the acidity of the stomach and are also used to bind phosphorus in the small intestine. They would no interaction with birth control pills. To confirm, ask the physician who prescribed them.

found out my liver enzymes are high (making me very tired and nauseous). taking something for it. i know you shouldnt take medication as it makes it worse but can you take your birth control (ginette), antacid (altosec) and multivitamin (ds24)?

Careful: I do not know how bad your liver enzymes are elevated and I hope you are actively seeing a provider who is helping you to find out why they are elevated.  Hepatitis is usually viral, but can be from a toxin.  This can effect your P450 oxidase system and that can have effects on the metabolism of both Altosec which contains omeprazole and Ginette.  Glutathione and Alpha lipoic acid good.

can antacids like dexilant or depression medicines like olanzapine or remeron affect birth control absorption? i also took a fluconazole for yeast infection. i have been spotting on the pill and wasnt sure if this could be possibility.

No risk, no worry: None of these medications have any effect on birth control drug absorption or on contraceptive effectiveness. No need to worry at all.

i started combination birth control pill, femovan a week ago and since the last 2 days i have been experiencing a bit of indigestion, stomach ache and acidity. is it ok if i take pantoprazole or any other antacid? can antacids interact with pills?

: You can use over-the-counter antacids while taking oral contraceptives, without any change in the effectiveness of the contraception. If you require the ant acids for longer than two weeks or so, or if your symptoms recur after you stop using the on assets, you should see your doctor or a gastroenterologist. Good luck.

Diet &amp; Exercise: As you might imagine, most physicians don't recommend diet pills.  There are prescription diet pills and they should be given under a physicians supervision.  OTC diet pills are not safe and I don't recommend them.  In terms of interactions, you'd have to state the name of pill and the name of your birth control to answer effectively
