i'm taking amlopidine since a week ago but the effect is extremely slow ( i was 140/110 and with amlopidine 130/100) is this normal for this pill?

Yes.: There is a potential interaction but it should be minor.  Not a problem if they are taken together only intermittently.

if you losinopril causes the dry cough will all ace have same effect?  also ccb amlopidine caused leg swelling will the other ccb do same?

Not neccessarily: Sometimes a switch from one ACE-INHIBITOR to another can stp the cough. If not switching to an Angiotensin Receptor Blocker will very likely stop the cough. All CCBlockers can cause leg swelling. Lowering the dose will decrease the swelling. In any given person one CCB may cause less swelling than the other, while still being effective.

taking metoprolol 25mg er and amlopidine 5 mg. have been on since january. now, started having bradycardia and irregular heartbeats. could this be a side effect?

: As a beta blocker, one of the primary effects metoprolol has on the body is to slow the heart rate. If the heart rate is too slow to maintain good perfusion to the body, bradycardic symptoms can occur. You should discuss this with the Doctor Who prescribed the metoprolol to see if an adjustment of the medication dosage or discontinuation is warranted. Good luck.

my blood pressure is very high (177/100) and is staying high no matter what i do to try and lower it. my doctor has put me on amlopidine, for about 2 weeks now, along with my usual perindripal. feeling very naseous, dizzy and have a headache.

Hypertension: New onset of these symptoms?  Are you able to check your BP at home? If yes, do so. It quite elevated get medical assistance promptly. If you have been experiencing this since you began the Amlopidine - than it could be medication side effect as these are not uncommon side effects with this medication. If sx's just began &amp; you can't check BP - to be cautious go to medical to be evaluated.
