Not neccessarily: Sometimes a switch from one ACE-INHIBITOR to another can stp the cough. If not switching to an Angiotensin Receptor Blocker will very likely stop the cough. All CCBlockers can cause leg swelling. Lowering the dose will decrease the swelling. In any given person one CCB may cause less swelling than the other, while still being effective.
