Yes: Do your best to rehab that ankle as best as possible. Continue with ice, keep it wrapped etc..

PITTING EDEMA: You need to get checked by your famiy physician.Pitting edema in the legs can come from 
1kidney disease
2liver disease
3heart failure
4chronic venous insufficiency
there are other rare causes as well.You need a thorough hstory and physical exam and blood and urine test and if indicated other tests and imaging to find out the cause and treat appropriately.

Probable second : degree sprain; however, x-ray needed to rule out chip fracture.

Depends: If this is from an acute injury like a sprain, cold would be better. If this is more chronic or happening at the end of the day you would be better off using a compression sock. Let me know if I can be any more help.

Ice it: Elebate it, take some antiinflammatories, brace it with an ace bandage and if pain persists see a doctor.

Not enough time.: It means the ankle requires more than one month to completely heal.

Not necessarily : If your not having pain or any problems with function, I would not be concerned; but if you are don't hesitate to be seen.  Sometimes injuries to the ankle can include tears to ligamentous structures that never fully heal.  This may lead to some degree of chronic instability or subluxation.  Again, if it is painful or causes functional problems don't hesitate to be seen.

i just had labor and my son is 6 days old and i have slight pain of swelling in my legs and ankles what do you suggest i do ?

Contact your gyn: If swelling is significant contact your gyn asap so they can evaluate you and rule out clots or phlebitis.

Not at all: But your first "step" (sorry) is to get it properly diagnosed.  Was it a sprain, a ligament tear or perhaps even a little fracture?  You'll need an x-ray to start, and perhaps a sonogram or even an MRI if things are complicated. The last thing you want to do is walk around with a fracture or tear.  You're young and apparently healthy, so don't risk a lifetime of residual pain by ignoring this.
