Low testosterone: There are creams, gels, patches, and monthly shots to replace testosterone. They all work equally well. It is just a matter of your personal preference as to how you like to take the medicine.

Improvememt: You should have improvements in the symptoms that led to a testosterone check in the first place. Also your provider should check regular labs, including a testosterone level to ensure it is working and not otherwise hurting.

Women & Testosterone: I am not sure I am understanding what you are really asking. Taking testosterone masculinizes the female in rapid and significant ways.  So, unless you are transgendered, then the treatment must be less than what men take or i need more information to clarify my response.

Testosterone: Safer! They are both testosterone. They have the same lists of side effects.

Accepted Answer

No: Androgel is another method of administering testosterone, and is generally better than injections. It can return levels to normal but gives a normal level throughout the 24 hour day. Injections give an immediate spike to above normal levels, followed by several days of rapid decline to below normal levels before the next injection.
Unless cost is a factor, gels are generally better than injections.

Medications: All medical conditions requiring therapy do not always turn out to be helpful.

Any time your doctor prescribes an additional medications make sure he/she tells you what they are for and then ask whether any new medicine will interfere with androgel.

What is "adg"?: I love to answer this question, but i don't understand what "adg" means. But known to us, taking AndroGel is for men with confirmed low testosterone leading to hormonal ed. It can be used as long as you clinically need it. However, nothing is free but comes with a price; so it carries its own adverse effects such as fluid retention, hypertension, increased risk to heart, etc.

Androxal: has not been approved and , my opinion only, I would NOT switch even if approved unless your TREATING Health Care Provider suggests it!
