Yes: If you are anemic, you must find the cause; it's a curable cancer until there's good reason to believe otherwise. Further, if you're severely anemic, your mind and body won't work as you need them to. You have a responsibility to others to be productive and at least fairly happy. All anemias are manageable. Please get diagnosed and treated.

Yes, anemia is bad!: Anemia is the lack of sufficient red blood cells (rbcs) which are responsible for carrying oxygen to the body. Lack of oxygen can cause loss of neurologic functions, including speech, so anemia could be a cause of the speech problem.  However, the correlation is usually with pretty severe anemia, and if the anemia is not severe, then other causes need to be sought.

Fatigue.: Anemia is lack of red cells.  Usual symptoms feeling cold, lightheaded, weakness, headaches, shortness of breath with exercise.  Most important is why you are anemic.  This does happen without a cause that needs to be found and treated.  The causes are many.  Talk to your doctor about this.

Better not: If you are anemic- you should not donate blood. There are some criteria to donate blood. You will not be allowed to donate blood if you are anemic.  Go to see your doctor to find the cause of your anemia.

Anemia: These values have to be assessed in the context of other tests and a  history & physical. Anemia is more importantly diagnosed by the values of your hemoglobin and hematocrit . Some anemias are also diagnosed by the red blood cell size, the mcv, B12 and folate (folic acid) deficiencies cause large cells, iron deficiency causing small cells. If both occur the MCV may not reveal much. See your md for discussion.

Primary care doc: Given the multiple issues you are facing, it would be prudent to have a primary care doctor coordinate your care. For anemia, you may take oral iron and multivitamins. For weight loss, reducing your caloric intake and increasing physical activity are paramount. There are no reliable, safe medications for losing weight.

i was told i'm anaemic at 104 after taking 200mg daily iron for a month my levels have dropped to 92 what should my levels be? what could cause this?

See below: A common cause of iron deficiency anemia in women is excessive menstrual blood loss. If oral iron supplementation has not corrected the anemia, then other reasons for blood loss should be investigated. You may increase you iron intake to three times daily. Take the pills with meals and if constipation is an issue, take a fiber laxative like Metamucil.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.
