Finish: If you have finished the entire course of Amoxicillin without, you may need a different antibiotic or simply a decongestant. You should always take all of the antibiotics prescribed within the course of recommended time.

Compresses : Warm compress or sitz baths. Should bring it to a head . May need to drain it.  Also, unlikely that amoxicillin will cover for anaerobic bacteria in a pilonidal cyst.  Need to change antibiotic

tonsils have been swollen after cold. prescribed amoxcil for 7 days.  while swelling went down, they are still not back to normal.should i be worried?

Most likely no.: As long as you're feeling better &amp; the tonsils are getting smaller, you don't need to worry.  It can take a while for any part of the body to return to normal after infection, inflammation or injury.   It's like a deep cut.  It can be sewn closed but it still takes time to actually heal up. Not sure: Have you had a gastric emptying study? If you have a slow to empty stomach, this can often have these symptoms. Patients with severe gerd often swallow a lot of air. This distension will feel better when released. Otherwise, it may be irritable bowel syndrome. See a GI doctor.
