i'm 25 with 1 child. i had 3 miscarriages, and 1 ectopic pregnancy, no period in 2 months and i'm not on birth control. am i in early onset menopause?

Menopause unlikely: Pregnancy, stress, thyroid or other hormone condition, obesity, other heath conditions are more likely.

had a d&c after a miscarriage in june and since then my period has gone from a constant 28 days cycle to 34 or 35 days even 36 days. i cant understand what is going on in my body , i am just 28 , am i menopausal? im really bothered about this?

: Mother Nature has "reset" your menstrual cycles post miscarriage. Ovulation may still be occurring around Days 20 -22 without any form of hormonal contraception. However, it is also possible that ovulation has not yet resumed with your cycle length. A Basal Body Temperature chart can help delineate that issue. If not, see your GYN MD for assessment.

why do i keep having early miscarriages?  i have had two.  the second was at five and a half weeks along. what could this mean?

See a REI specialist: You still have a chance of a healthy pregnancy 'on your own', but after 2 or more miscarriages we do tests to find out why. Possible causes include autoimmune conditions like antiphospholipid antibodies, blood clotting disorders, low egg supply, problems in the uterus like fibroids or a uterine septum, hormonal problems, or male or female genetic problems. Get checked out by a rei specialist.

Bleeding . . .: A positive pregnancy test with bleeding, particularly heavy bleeding with cramps, is most suggestive.  If pregnancy symptoms like fatigue, urinary frequency, breast tenderness, nausea, and vomiting suddenly improve, or if none of those symptoms appear despite the positive pregnancy test, you should be suspicious.

miscarried at 5 1/2 weeks. do i have to wait three months before trying again or could i start again at anytime sense it was fairly early on?

Anytime: There's no data to show that waiting three months has an effect on next pregnancy.  Eat healthy, get 7-8 hours of sleep a night, be at a healthy weight and exercise are the best ways to make sure you're in good shape to get pregnant again.  I typically tell patients to wait at least one menstrual cycle, but again, there's no evidence that you need to wait.  Fingers crossed for you!

Possibly: A D&C can be done at any stage, but if the pregnancy had not progressed to a point where a sac or embryo had been developing, then a D&C may not have been necessary.
