A series of things: Antibiotics coupled with a professional dental cleaning will be the first things to be done at the dental office along with exceptionally good home care on your part. If this is inadequate to address the issue, gum surgery is sometimes indicated to  try to get things back to a state of health.

May or maynot help: Betadiene is iodine and depending upon mouth ulcers it may or maynot help. The only help is that it is an antiseptic. Also one must be sure that you have gingivitis and not periodontitis as only a dentist can help diagnose between the two. Treatment modailities in the latter need intervention by a dentist. Also goiter due to iodine deficiency will not help only with rinses need to see a physician.

Better brushing and : Flossing.  Gingivitis is a reversible inflammatory process caused by inadequate plaque removal.  Red, smooth and bleeding gum tissues rather than pink stippled firm tissues are the hallmark of this disease.  It only  takes about 4-5 days of increased attention to reverse the process and return tissues to better health.  Regular dental prophylaxis can remove localized irritants .  See your  dentist.

Not really: It's a good treatment for acute infections. Long term, there is risk of oral lesions, carcinogenesis and bleaching soft tissues which could mask the redness of inflammation. Proper plaque control, brushing, flossing, listerine should be combine with professional treatment.

Antibiotics Help: Acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis is an aggressive infection of the gums around the teeth that is caused by poor oral hygiene. Periodontal infections are an invasion of multiple bacteria and other microbes that cause a truly uncomfortable inflammation of the tissue.  Antibiotics help but must be accompanied by a thorough cleaning (debridement) of the gums and teeth. Peroxide rinses help too.
