Probably many: Anyone can be allergic to any medication.  I have seen several people claim to be allergic to xanax (alprazolam).  Medications can be targets of the immune system so any medication can cause an allergic reaction.

Itchy/ hives: An allergy implies an immune reaction with itchiness and hives. I haven't seen an alprazolam allergy however a sensitivity may be possible which implies after taking the medication you experience adverse effects not expected as side effects are.

Not allergy medicine: Xanax (alprazolam) is not an allergy relief medication.  It is an anti-anxiety medication.

i take .50mg xanax (alprazolam)/10mg claritin daily for anxiety & allergies. took xanax (alprazolam) but dunno if i took claritin. feel miserable-ok to take another claritin?

Yes.Its ok to double: up on Claritin (loratadine) dose .You might get sleepy,but ok.Dont drive.

i took a benedryl for my allergies,  and my amlodipine for my blood pressure at around the same time tonight. can i take my alprazolam tonight also?

Better no: alprazolam would interact with benadryl (diphenhydramine) causing CNS depression, please exercise caution when taking multiple drugs, good luck

i'm prescribed xanax (alprazolam) for panic attacks, and am wondering if it's safe to take xanax prior to receiving a moderna vaccine? and are there interactions between xanax and epinephrine (i don't have a history of allergies but want to be safe)?

: There is absolutely no contraindication regarding vaccine when one is taking Xanax.  If epinephrine were needed, which is exceeding rare, there would be no prohibition.  Get your vaccine and protect yourself, as the bigger worry is COVID-19

Drug interactions: See:  https://www.drugs.com/drug-interactions/alprazolam.html. I know of no contraindication for use of alprazolam if allergic to aspirin.

i was prescibed trazodone for insomnia but had allergy next he prescibed ambien but makes me feel weird, is it bad to suggest xanax (alprazolam) or other med?

Cause for insomnia?: Referral (possibly to psychiatrist) for thorough evaluation of your insomnia might be the smartest request you could make.  It's better than asking for more medicines when it's not clear "why" you're having this problem.  If you're still taking vyvanse (as on your other info), this may be related.  Ambien (zolpidem) can indeed result in feeling "weird" -- also doing odd things at night after taking it.

Talk to your doc: Let your doctor know how you're feeling on your current medication and he will be able to figure out what's best for you based on your sxs and side effects of the medications. Good luck.

is it ok for me to take an anti allergy pill when i have heart failure and am on advair, buproprion, topamax, restarts, xanax, (alprazolam) klonopin and propecia?

Yes but ...: As long as the qt segment on your ECG is ok at rest and monitored while on the drug , a simple antihistamine is fine. The ones with a decongestant are not good under any conditions as it may cause rhythm problems and htn.
