: Silicone is a rather inert material resistant to all but a few major agents like strong acids. I would not consider it a problem.

Chemical burn.: Hair removal lotions can cause skin irritation, but don't generally cause permanent damage. The skin of the penis and scrotum is quite sensitive, however, so it often feels a lot worse than it is. You can continue to keep the area clean and watch it carefully. See your Family Doc: Peeling penile rashes should be evaluated by your Family Doc who may need to refer you to a Urologist or Dermatologist. S/he will also be asking about your risk for &amp; exposure to sexually transmitted diseases. And examine for ulcers on other mucosal surfaces.

Take a break: You can injure any body part from overuse. Take a break for a week or two to let it heal. Keep it clean so the site dies not become infected with skin germs or you will have a bigger problem.

Aloe vera is: Exceptionally helpful for some types of burn healing. Here is the issue - most popular products containing aloe vera  don't have a high enough concentration to get the job done well. Thus, using the sap from an actual aloe vera plant is the best way to go.
