a week ago i discovered a purple bruise-like spot on the back of my leg, but its painless. it is almond-shaped, what could it be? purpura?

Bruise from minor tr: This is a bruise most likely from minor trauma that you were not aware of.

Could be a cyst: could be a cyst, or a lipoma which is a benign fatty tumor,or a oil gland cyst ,there is nothing else possible in this location.
nothing to worry about ,if it becomes infected, or larger see a doctor.

what kind of contacts are for almond shaped eyes? i bought 8.6 colored contacts and i have 20/20 vision. they were big on me but they didn't bother me

Not related to...: Contact lens come in different curvatures, different widths (diameters), different materials (leads to different water content and oxygen passage). An eye doctor needs to examine and measure the eyes. It is not related to "almond shaped" anything!

No: Individuals with almond-shaped or Asian eyelids tend to have a fold of skin that covers more of the side of the eye near the nose.  It can give the impression that the eye is turned in, but this is rarely the case. Babies often have a similar appearance because the bridge of the nose is flat at birth, which allows more skin to cover the nasal part of the white of the eye until the bridge grows.

i was bit by either a spider/misquito when poked they are hard, they are red/pink i now have a c-shaped bruise not around but an inch/so next to bite?

Insect bite: Have you noticed any redness of the surrounding skin?  Any itching? Any pain?  Have you used any medication for the bites?  The skin can become sensitive after insect bites and predispose you to some bruising along with the inflammatory process changes.  If you have a picture, we can further assist you with healing.

hi there, i woke up this morning to an odd shaped bruise on the my calf, i know i have low ferritin it's 2.1 the bruise went from medium to large?

Not likely related: Iron deficiency and bruising are not really related. A bruise can get bigger after it first occurs. Medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, advil, Motrin and the like can increase the chance of bruising.

i have what looks like a circular ring shaped (the inside is fine) bruise where the butt meets the thigh that can be painful, itchy, and scaly.

Need photo: A photo tells a thousand words.  A bruise is not itchy.  Scaling skin lesion could be a benign AK.  Best to get a photo or see your doctor for diagnosis.

See Your Doctor: You described a few details about the rash however not enough information is given to deduce the cause. Annular shaped rashes are common; can range from fungal infections to contact dermatitis. Diagnosis of skin findings is challenging without visual inspection. Additionally, a detailed medical history is needed to assess all possible causes. See your doctor for the correct diagnosis and treatment

ER: Hopefully,this is just a bruise,may be related to trauma or sexual activityu; however, you must be checked and evaluated in the ER or local UC clinic.

If it has been there: 4 a long time, it's mostly likely a birthmark. Especially if no injury known.
