No: Individuals with almond-shaped or Asian eyelids tend to have a fold of skin that covers more of the side of the eye near the nose. It can give the impression that the eye is turned in, but this is rarely the case. Babies often have a similar appearance because the bridge of the nose is flat at birth, which allows more skin to cover the nasal part of the white of the eye until the bridge grows.
